Ravenna Park Walk - Jane's Walk Weekend!

Ravenna Park is one of Seattle's oldest. This half-mile long wooded ravine located just north of the University District follows the course of the old Ravenna Creek that ran from Green Lake to Union Bay. Today it's a popular spot for hiking, jogging, and picnicing. Come explore this urban jewel and discover it's history. Learn about its origins as a privately-owned park in the late 1800s and how part of the creek was daylighted in recent years.

We'll begin and end the walk in front of Cowen Park Grocery (1217 NE Ravenna Blvd). The walk itself will be about two miles with some small elevation gains (including stairs) and walking on uneven trails within the park. We anticipate the walk ending back at Cowen Park Grocery by noon.
