Take a walk in Queen Anne--an iconic Seattle neighborhood. This Jane's Walk will highlight the neighborhood's history and architecture. Hosts Anne Holmes, longtime neighborhood denizen, and Feet First member Rick Browning will share insights that will fuel your admiration of this historical Seattle neighborhood.

The Walk: Anne of Queen Anne
Time: 2 hours
Longtime neighborhood denizen Anne Holmes and Feet First member Rick Browning will lead this interesting walk that begins and ends at Counterbalance Park. You'll get to hear some history and experience the architecture of the neighborhood.
Rick, a local architect, can provide noteworthy information about the landmark structures along the route. Anne will add color commentary to share the insights of a long-time resident with a deep interest and commitment in the history and future of the Queen Anne neighborhood.
The walk is approximately 3.5 miles, with some steep hills and many uneven stairs and gravel surfaces. We will stop at Macrina Bakery on McGraw Street.
Children and dogs are welcome. Please keep in mind that we will maintain a moderate pace over the distance of the terrain described.
